This Privacy Policy describes how New York Ad Writer LLC doing business as Casita Film ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the For Instance Figma plugin and website. We are committed to being straightforward about what we collect and why.
The For Instance plugin does not collect, store, or transmit any of your Figma file content, design data, component structure, or slide content. All component syncing occurs locally within Figma. The plugin communicates only with Figma's official API (api.figma.com) on your behalf to read and update your files. No design or file data is ever sent to our servers.
We collect no analytics, no usage telemetry, and no behavioral data of any kind.
The plugin stores the following data in Figma's client storage (figma.clientStorage) on your device only. This data never leaves your device except as described in sections 3 and 4 below.
When you activate or validate a PRO license, the plugin sends the following data to our Cloudflare Worker (described in section 4), which forwards it to Lemon Squeezy's License API:
Validation runs automatically in the background when the plugin opens to confirm your license remains active. No additional data is transmitted during this check.
License API requests are routed through a Cloudflare Worker hosted at damp-shadow-f977.sergio-7b2.workers.dev. This Worker acts as an authenticated proxy between the plugin and Lemon Squeezy's API. It does not store, log, or retain any data beyond Cloudflare's standard infrastructure access logs (IP address, timestamp, request path), which are subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
License admins with a multi-seat plan can view active seats, revoke individual seats, and export a CSV audit log from within the plugin. The seat list — including Figma display names and activation timestamps — is retrieved from Lemon Squeezy via the Cloudflare Worker at the admin's request. This data is not stored by us; it is fetched live from Lemon Squeezy each time the admin panel is opened.
The revocation log is stored locally in figma.clientStorage on the device where Revoke was clicked. It is never transmitted to our servers. Admins can export it as a CSV for their own records.
When you purchase a paid plan, payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC ("LemonSqueezy"), our Merchant of Record. LemonSqueezy collects and stores your:
